Vero Roadside Assistance is an extra benefit available to Vero commercial customers with light commercial fleet and non-fleet vehicle insurance. It provides nationwide, roadside support 24/7, for common vehicle issues such as flat batteries, tyre changes, fuel delivery, and lockouts.
Vero commercial motor customers who have a current light commercial fleet and non-fleet vehicle policy are automatically eligible. No additional sign-up or activation is required, and there is no additional premium.
Light commercial vehicles are defined as roadworthy vehicles (cars, vans, utes, caravans, and two/three/four-wheel trailers), with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) under 3,500 kilograms, measuring less than 2.44 metres in width, under 3 metres in height, and shorter than 7 metres in length.
Common examples include:
- Vans (e.g., Toyota HiAce, Ford Transit)
- Utes (e.g., Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger)
- Sedans and SUVs (e.g. Toyota RAV4)
- Towing to the nearest repairer if the vehicle can’t be fixed on the spot

No. Vero Roadside Assistance is included as part of the light commercial fleet and non-fleet vehicle insurance policy at no additional premium. However, repair, recovery and delivery of fuel costs associated with the service are at the customers expense.
Customers can call the dedicated roadside Assistance response line 0800 VERO ASSIST (0800 837 627), AA Roadservice will dispatch help based on the location and issue. Have your company name and policy number ready.
Yes. Emergency charging support is available for EVs as part of the fuel delivery service.
