Our company

Allow us to introduce ourselves.

Vero is a leading provider of insurance products and services to New Zealanders. We pride ourselves on the recognition and awards we have received from industry peers and independent bodies in both the insurance industry and the wider business community as we strive to be a World Class provider of general insurance.

From its Vero Centre head office in the heart of Auckland’s Central Business District, Vero employs around 850 people in offices throughout New Zealand. The high levels of engagement experienced by these employees in a positive workplace climate has seen Vero ranked within the top five 'Large Workplaces' in the independent nationwide unlimited/JRA Magazine's 'Best Places to Work' survey every year since 2004.

In 2008, Vero was awarded the Achievement Award - Gold Level from the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation in recognition of our strengths including our focus on continuous improvement and clear vision to be a World Class provider of general insurance. Vero continues to strive towards business excellence across all activities and areas of the organisation. To read more about Vero's journey to Gold, click here.
